BUY VS DIY | HANGING SHELVES

I've been seeing these hanging shelves everywhere! And honestly, I do get why people are choosing them over the more tradicional ones - not only do they serve the same purpose but also they make any room look ten times better.

There's only one downside - the price!

This one was the cheapest I found:

Does it look good? Yes, it does! But, it's 16,00€ and you can basically juts fit a vase there.

So, I decides to try and do it myself, I mean, how hard could it be? The answer is not hard at all!

I took inspiration from WHYDON'TYOUMAKEME.

MATERIALS

1 - Make four holes on the board.

2 - Cut two pieces of cord to your desired length, mine had about 40″ each. Take one of the pieces and pass one of it's ends through hole #1 and the other through hole #2. Do the same on the other two holes using the other piece of cord.

And it's done!

Really easy right? And the best part is that it only cost me 2,58€!

Hope you liked it and if you decide to make this project don't forget to share it with me! Send me an email with the final result to myavius@hotmail.com or share it on social media with the #aviuslook.
